Rebooting LG TV using the remote
If your LG remote is still available;
- Tap on the Home Button to display the Menu.
- Go down to ‘Settings’.
- Choose General, then reset.

- Select Safety >>> Reset Password.
- Double tap the channel up button >>> channel down button >>> then the channel up button once again.
- Type 0313.
- Enter 0000 in the next prompt.
- Next, create a new password.
Rebooting the Operating System
For those that have WebOS LG TV, you can make use of the advanced features. Any issue involving the operating system cannot just be rectified by turning the TV off to reboot. When the is frozen, resetting it will fix the problem.
- Hold the power and volume keys for about 10 seconds.
- Once the LG LOGO appears, release the keys.
- The TV and the software will start rebooting.
If it didn’t work, use this alternative method;
