Rambo III (1988)
In this installment, Rambo has settled in a Thai Monastery. With the invitation of Col. Trautman, Rambo travels to Afghanistan to help Mujahedeen and other tribes in Afghanistan. Rambo uses his combat skills and resourcefulness to help the rebels but is captured and tortured. He eventually escapes and leads the rebels to victory.
Rambo (2008)
The fourth Rambo movie is set in the present day, with Rambo living in seclusion and refusing to get involved in any conflicts. However, when a group of missionaries is kidnapped by a brutal dictator in Burma, Rambo is convinced to help rescue them.
Rambo uses all his combat skills to save the hostages and take down the dictator. This movie was rated 4/5 on Rotten Tomatoes meaning itโs one of the best action movies of the early 21st Century.
Rambo: Last Blood (2019)
The fifth and final Rambo movie follows John Rambo as he lives on a ranch in Arizona. He gets pulled back into violence as he tries to save a girl who has been kidnapped by a Mexican cartel.
He faces his toughest fight yet as he takes on the cartel, and the past comes back to haunt him. The movie still features Sylvester Stallone as Rambo, Genie Kim, Yvette Monreal, Paz Vega, and Sergio Peris-Mencheta.
